Signed book: For Whom the Bell Tolls. First edition, first printing. NY: Charles Scribner’s Sons, 1940. Hardcover with dustjacket, 6 x 8.5, 472 pages. Signed and inscribed in pencil on the first free end page, “To the Youngs, with sincere good wishes, Ernest Hemingway ‘59.” Book is housed in a custom clamshell box. Worn edges, chips, and tears to dustjacket, a mild overall shade of toning to signed page, light toning to inside covers, and front hinge just a bit soft, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
