Description

Elston Howard

ALS, two pages, 8.5 x 11, New York Yankees letterhead, dated March 9, 1978. Howard writes to Charles McKay. In full: “I hope this letter will find you and your family in the best of health. Were were supposed to play Texas today and got rain all day. So far, something will come up Charles. I hope not like last year it was the darnest thing I ever seen. Charles, do you have sport programs. I would [like] to start one and be active during the Summer & Winter and work with kids in the area for Manufacturers Hanover. I could do an outstanding job for you and it will be a winner. I like to start those clinics also when you say so. You people are class all the way. So today I am writing the class of New York.” In fine condition. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
