Vintage matte-finish 3.25 x 5.25 postcard three-quarter length photo, signed vertically in fountain pen, “Alexander Girardi, March 1901.” Accompanied by a color postcard showing him with actress Hansi Niese in his most famous role as “Valentin” in which he sang the renowned “Hobellied” (Planing Song).
