In full: “When I left the meeting this evening, a friend commented to me that I had called you by the name ‘Shertok.’ I was surprised and sorry. Apparently at that moment I was thinking of your father, of blessed memory. In any event, I hope that you will not suspect that I had any unfriendly intention toward you.” Moshe Sharett rose from humble beginnings o become one of he greatest Jews in history. A founding father when Israel was refounded in 1948, he is one of he most accomplished politicians in Jewish history. In fine condition, with some scattered light creases and wrinkles.
