Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 16 x 9.5, August 1, 1823. President Monroe grants Solomon Remley 86 acres of land in Cincinnati, Ohio. Signed at the conclusion by Monroe, and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. In good condition, with moderate foxing, vertical creases, including one through a single letter of signature, mounting remnant to left edge, missing seal, and handwritten portions of document light, but mostly legible. Despite the flaws, Monroe’s signature remains fairly bold, and mostly unaffected. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
