DS signed “G. S. Patton Jr,” one page, 10.5 x 8, November 1, 1919. With this signature, Patton, then-Commanding Colonel of Tank Corps, promoted a private to the rank of “Sergeant COA 328 Bn. (Tank Corps).” The official document remains in very good condition with intersecting folds, some pin holes that are confined to blank areas, and a negligible stain to the extreme lower left corner.
