President Roosevelt appoints Marcus Erwin to the position of “Attorney of the United States in and for the western district of North Carolina.” Signed at the conclusion by Roosevelt, and countersigned by Attorney General Homer Cummings. Rolled and in fine condition, with some scattered light toning and creasing. The gold foil seal is crisp and intact, and Roosevelt’s signature is quite bold and pronounced.
