“The event which stands out in my mind with my work at the UN is the acceptance of the Declaration of Human Rights, December 10th, 1948.”

Two items: vintage matte-finish 5 x 7.25 Pach Bros. portrait, signed in the lower border in fountain pen; and a one page TLS, 6 x 7, on her personal letterhead, dated February 4, 1953, commenting on her United Nations work. In part: “The event which stands out in my mind with my work at the UN is the acceptance of the Declaration of Human Rights, December 10th, 1948.” In fine condition, with some light creasing to the lower left of photo.
