A popular stomping ground for all darlings of the limelight, Las Vegas has long been the attraction for many a media magnate—especially Frank. This 5.5 x 3.5 Sands Hotel postcard was signed by frequent Vegas performer, “Ol’ Blue Eyes” himself, Frank Sinatra. His lavish, blue ink signature exhibits impressive clarity, and exceptional provenance accompanies the piece in the form of a typed letter signed by its original owner who states that she obtained the autograph in the Sands lobby in 1952. The period signature remains bold and clear, and the postcard exhibits very good condition despite a pair of pinholes at the top corners (used to facilitate display), and areas of skinning and soiling on the image and signature sides, respectively.
