Two items: portrait engraving of Rutherford B. Hayes on an off-white 6 x 9.25 card with facsimile signature, signed in ink as President “R. B. Hayes, 3 Dec. 1879”; and a similar engraving of Mrs. Hayes, signed in ink “Lucy W. Hayes.” In very good condition overall, with scattered foxing and staining to both (lightly touching signatures; somewhat heavier to Mrs. Hayes) and slight bleeding to ink.
