Italian conductor Arturo Toscanini (1867-1957) signed this vintage photograph. The matte-finish medium is autographed and dated on the mount, “Arturo Toscanini—8-6-[1]925” with an accompanying inscription penned in Italian. Though there is some bleeding to the 80-year-old ink, the writing remains legible and especially desirable given its scarcity. Scattered areas of light soiling, and some minor silvering to the bottom edge are overcome by the photo’s otherwise fine condition. RRAuction COA.
