Postal envelope signed “Charles A. Lindbergh,” 6.5 x 4, postmarked at Chicago, Illinois on February 21, 1928 at 4 a.m. and addressed to the postmaster at Springfield (one of the other stops on Lindbergh's route). For two days in 1928 (February 20 and 21), Lindbergh flew the mail again, for the Robertson Aircraft Corporation, between Chicago and St. Louis. This cover was flown on one of these flights and features a 10¢ stamp with Lindbergh's Ryan NYP Spirit of St. Louis and a stamped horseshoe cachet with the caption “Lindbergh Again Flies the Air Mail.” Top edge opened, and light scattered soiling and handling wear, otherwise fine condition.
