Taft; ink signatures, on various slips and cards, of Eleanor Roosevelt, Mamie Doud Eisenhower, and Lady Bird Johnson; 1974 TLS from Lady Bird Johnson; and a 1960 business check, made out to the Democratic National Committee, filled out and signed by Rosalynn Carter. Accompanied by several pieces of unsigned First Lady ephemera, including an Eleanor Roosevelt FDC, an unused Nancy Reagan paper doll book (Dover, 1983), and a complete set of postal souvenir panels issued by the Postal Commemorative Society in the 1980s, comprising color informational sheets, stamps, FDCs, and the like for each First Lady from Martha Washington to Nancy Reagan, housed together in the original binder.
