I am ‘getting along’ as we who are nearing 80!—say—and so am I! It’s a year since you wrote that and I feel chagrined to have been so slow in responding. I enclosed the picture with this! Thank you so very much! With my love—Margaret Hamilton”; and the other photo to which Hamilton refers, a glossy 8 x 10 image of her as a “civilian,” signed and inscribed in blue ink “For Mrs. Hugh—With warmest wishes and now you can see what I mean!
