Signed book: Dali. First trade edition. France: Draeger, 1968. Hardcover with dustjacket, 11.25 x 12, 243 pages. Boldly signed and inscribed black felt tip across the two-page spread that includes the title page, “A Inka et Heinrich Menle, Dali, 1972,” Dali drawing the first letter of his signature as a large, fanciful spiral with a shooting star above, and adding a sketch of Don Quixote on horseback on the page opposite. In fine, clean condition overall, with mild rubbing to jacket, a hint of subtle rubbing to extremities, and several detached pages (as is a common result of the flawed manufacture of this book; all pages present). The signed pages are clean and unaffected by any faults. Handsome and highly graphic! RRAuction COA.
