American artist (1870–1966) best known for his luminous, often fantastic landscapes and romantic illustrations of nudes. In full: “The lettering will be sent to you this week without fail.” Accompanied by the original mailing envelope addressed in Parrish’s hand. In 1902, Brown published Letters and Lettering, which included several illustrations and samples by Parrish. Intersecting mailing folds and a hint of subtle soiling, otherwise fine, bright condition.
