Docketed by American League President Ban Johnson, also bearing a secretarial signature of Jacob Ruppert. Johnson played from 1925 to 1939, beginning with a seven-year stint with the New York Yankees and later joining the Boston Red Sox, Philadelphia Athletics, and Cincinnati Reds.
