TLS signed “George,” one page, 8 x 10, Office of the Vice-President Elect letterhead, December 9, 1980. Bush writes to a member of the International Broadcast News. We’ll do our best.” When Ronald Reagan and George Bush took office in January of 1981, they were confronted with resolving the Iranian hostage situation, a looming air traffic controllers’ strike, an unemployment rate of 7.5%, escalating tensions with Russia and other communist countries, and rising inflation. Double matted and framed with a large color portrait of Bush to an overall size of 26.5 x 20. In fine condition, with a few light creases, and a hint of mild toning to top left. RRAuction COA.
