It’s said they are to be broke there, & the men Draughted to compleat the first Battn. of the Americans & the 56th Regt. Part of the 55th are gone to Fort Wm. Augustus under Capt. Dunbar… I have long expected my Dismission from this Government & order to repair to England. And in order to be ready for my Journey, Mrs. Gage & her little family went to the Jerseys in March last, where I expected to follow her….
