In part: “I do hope you are feeling all right again yourself—after two such painful near disasters.” Garson adds a long postscript at the bottom of the page, reading in part: “I was really sorry to hear of your bad fortune. Maybe the Gremlins have been at work—several people I know have had minor & major accidents just recently. Perhaps we should all wear Michelin tires for protection.” Matted with the original mailing envelope and a portrait of Garson, to an overall size of 22 x 14.
