A pay order for £1,500 issued to Paul Boyer, “to be Applyed and Distributed by him and amongst the poor French-protestants in our Kingdome of Ireland, as Our Charity and Royall Benevlolnce to them, for and towards their Reliefe and Subsistence….” Accompanied by an antique portrait engraving. In good to very good condition, with folds, creases, and wrinkles, toning and light scattered staining (tiny spots lightly touching signature), a few restored marginal losses (slightly touching a few words of text).
