In part: “I am glad to comply with your request ... and beg to hand you herewith a part of the sentiment you send in my own writing. I feel very greatly honored that you should desire to place it with such valuable autographs as you mention as having on hand….” In fine condition overall with intersecting mailing folds (vertical fold to last name), mild toning, light scattered handling wear, and a few tiny marginal holes, tears, and stains.
