Glossy 8.25 x 10.25 photo of Mankiewicz at the 1950 New York Film Critics’ Awards, signed in black felt tip, with Mankiewicz adding an anecdote about the evening, which reads in part: “Bette Davis had just finished a long litany of ‘This was Joe’s film, Joe did it all…I rose with great embarassment; there was nothing I could think of to say except, ‘Bette forgot to say on the Seventh Day I rested.’ Thank you for asking, Joe Mankiewicz 1988/89.” In fine condition, with a few scattered border creases.
