Pearsall photo of Whitman seated in a coat and hat apparently lost in thought, signed in black ink, “Walt Whitman, born May 31, 1819.” In very good condition, with trimmed bottom edge, two vertical creases, light silvering to darker areas, and some slight ink loss to last letter of signature.
