Nikita Khrushchev

Soviet premier, 1958-64; forced during the Cuban Missile Crisis to remove Russian missiles from that island. TLS in Russian, one page, 6.75 x 11.5, no date. Khrushchev advises that 145 types of tractor parts have been dispatched, including all decorative stars and treads, as well as complaining that a few organizations have failed to follow orders to assemble mobile tractor repair shops, noting their great importance. He goes on to order that those repair shops are to be immediately assembled and a report is to be issued by April 10 In very good condition, with vertical fold through a single letter of signature, several ink and pencil notations, a mild shade of toning, and a rough left edge from removal from binding.
