Official Reach American League baseball signed in black ink on the sweet spot, “Babe Ruth,” with remnants of an inscription to George in Ruth’s hand on an adjoining side panel, and signed on a side panel by Connie Mack and Walter Johnson. Ball also bears five other worn and faded signatures, including one of Luke Appling. In good condition, with scattered soiling to ball, light overall rubbing to surface of ball, resulting in some ink loss to Ruth’s signature, and Johnson’s signature a shade or two light, but completely legible.
