A “Citation for Legion of Merit, Degree of Legionnaire” for Captain Mikolai Basilevich Nikitin of the Red Army, “for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services during the offensive operations southwest of Leningrad. In the Krasnoe Selo area on January 15-16, 1944, Captain Nikitin at point blank range, destroyed 25 German dugouts and dispersed and partially destroyed sixteen enemy groups.” A few tiny stains (one just touching “l” of last name), otherwise very fine, fresh condition.
