Vintage sepia glossy 8 x 10 photo from the 1931 film Smart Money, signed and inscribed in ink, “To Willis Sayre, All good wishes, Edward G. Robinson.” A pencil notation on the reverse indicates that the signature was obtained on March 31, 1952. The inscribee, James Willis Sayre (1877–1963), was a longtime theatre critic and historian in Seattle. A few small creases and surface marks (small dent/tear to right edge), slightly irregular adhesion to a few letters, and mild soiling, otherwise fine condition. R&R COA.
