Vintage glossy 8 x 10 publicity photo of Arnaz with his conga, signed and inscribed in ink, “To J. Willis, Best of luck, Desi Arnaz.” A pencil notation on the reverse indicates that the signature was obtained on April 15, 1950. The inscribee, James Willis Sayre (1877–1963), was a longtime theatre critic and historian in Seattle.
