Vintage glossy 7 x 9 photo of a younger deMille, signed and inscribed in ink, “To J. Willis Sayre—A good critic for more years than I have been a producer, Greetings, Cecil B. deMille, 1903–1923–1945.” Pencil notations on the reverse include the date 1923 (when the image was taken) and indicate that the signature was obtained on July 21, 1945.
