Marc Chagall

Russian-born artist (1887–1985) whose colorful, fanciful depictions of peasant life, Judaica, and other subjects earned him a place among the best-known visual artists of the twentieth century. French-language exhibition catalogue from the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, June 16–September 30, 1961, pictorial softcover, 7.25 x 9.5, signed in black crayon on the cover “Marc Chagall.” In good condition, with slight smudging to last name, and toning, light soiling, and wear to covers (creases and tiny tears to edges; chipping and losses to spine; front cover detached; partial separation to back cover.) The interior is clean and generally unaffected. R&R COA.
