Partly printed DS as President, one page on vellum, 12.75 x 15.5, November 12, 1822. A grant for a parcel of land under the provisions of “An Act to enable the Officers and Soldiers of the Virginia Line on Continental Establishment, to obtain Titles to certain Lands lying north west of the river Ohio, between the Little Miami and Sciota,” issued to Alexander Skinner, “a surgeon for nine months more than seven years.” The embossed seal remains intact at lower left. In very good condition, with intersecting folds (small holes at one intersection; vertical fold just touching first letter of signature), scattered staining to body of document, and mild scattered wrinkling and soiling.
