Vintage fountain pen signature, “George Sisler,” on an off-white 5 x 3 page, dated September 28, 1922. Sisler hit safely in 41 consecutive games-an American League record that stood until Joe DiMaggio broke it in 1941. He was also chosen as the American League’s Most Valuable Player that year, the first year an official league award was given.
