Letter to Ruth Kanin [Gordon] announcing that she is pregnant with her second child [Courtney], and laying out some future travel plans. In part: “If I looked plump we discovered upon our return that I’m pregnant…We’re all thrilled & the baby is due in March…I took Natasha to the Merry-go-round at Santa Monica Pier & thought of the Dealer & Daisy. It looks the same.” Gordon played Natalie’s mother in Inside Daisy Clover, and much of the film was shot on location in Santa Monica. “Dealer” was Gordon’s character’s nickname in the film.
