The card has been affixed to the front free end page of a first-edition copy of his last completed novel, Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc (New York, 1896). Housed in a custom cloth slipcase. In fine condition overall, with glue stain to front free end page, title page partly torn from binding, and hinges cracked (but attached). R&R COA.
