Hopkins, Govr.,” one 6.25 x 2.5 page inlaid into a slightly larger sheet, May 13, 1763. A pay order issued to Thomas Vernon, postmaster at Newport, for the postage of two packets. Mild soiling (a few tiny spots) and slight trimming to bottom edge, otherwise fine condition.
