Description

King of Great Britain and Ireland (1660–1727) from 1714 until his death. Manuscript DS, boldly signed “George R,” one page both sides, 7.75 x 12.5, March 19, 1719/20. A document authorizing John Crosse of the Royal Regiment of Welsh Fuziliers, commanded by Major General Joseph Sabine, “to Exchange his Commission of Second Lieutenant in that Regiment.” Accompanied by an antique portrait engraving. Faint intersecting folds (short edge separations) and mild scattered soiling and foxing, otherwise fine condition. R&R COA.
