TLS signed “John Kennedy,” one page, 6.25 x 9, House of Representatives letterhead, July 1, 1952. Kennedy writes to Mrs. Guenette. In part: “I want to thank you for attending the reception held for my mother and me recently in Fitchburg. Your interest was most welcome and I was very happy to meet you. I am planning to set up a women’s committee in your community to help me in my campaign for the United States Senate. One of the purposes of the committee is to emphasize the necessity of everyone registering and voting. I have asked my sister Patricia to telephone you with the net two or three weeks to ask you to serve on the committee….” In very fine condition. Auction LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
