Franking signature, “Free, M. VBuren,” on a 6.25 x 3 (panel size) postal cover addressed in his hand to the Rev. E. Nott in Schenectady, New York. The reverse of the panel bears a note in Van Buren’s hand, signed “MVB” and dated April 8 1826: “I shall attend faithfully to your business.” In good condition, with vertical fold with partial separations, light scattered soiling and wrinkling, and light show-through of ink.
