DS, one page, 11 x 8.5, no date. An unissued printed certificate of membership in the University Club of Washington, D.C., signed “Wm. H. Taft” as President (of the club). Taft founded the University Club in 1904. The certificate bears an embossed foil seal. Vertical fold, a few chips, tears, and creases to edges, and a hint of mild toning, otherwise fine condition.
