Color 24 x 20 print entitled U. S. Air Force C-141 Starlifter, signed and inscribed in blue felt tip, “To the 63rd Military Airlift Wing, Apollo 11’s thanks for a most professional job, Michael Collins,” and “Neil Armstrong,” and “Buzz Aldrin.” In 1969, a C-141A was used to fly the Apollo 11 astronauts and their special quarantine trailer from Hawaii to Houston after the first moon landing mission was completed. In fine condition, with just a bit of slight contrast to Collins’s signature and inscription and Aldrin’s signature due to similar color ink and background. All three signatures are large and proportionate to the print, with Armstrong’s signature measuring 3.5” high, and Collins’s signature measuring 4” long. COA Scott Cornish and R&R COA.
