I leave soon for Williams Mass., thence to New York & thence to Washington—which last place I hope to reach on Sunday or Monday next. I send some letters for file & these in this envelope to be answered when I am with you…. Please hold all my mail there…. All the family send love….” In very good to fine condition, with letter tipped to card at left edge (slight unevenness touching a few letters of text), small hole to central portion (touching one word), and light intersecting folds (just touching first letter of signature).
