Dumas,” one page, 5 x 8, no date. An untranslated letter of recommendation to Jules de Lesseps, brother of Suez Canal developer Ferdinand de Lesseps. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope and an unsigned CDV photo. In very good condition, with two marginal losses at left (one touching first letter of greeting) and a touch of mild staining and soiling. The signature is unaffected. R&R COA.
