Glossy photo trimmed in size to 8.25 x 11.25, depicting Armstrong, holding a bouquet, and a Russian military officer outside Lenin’s tomb during Armstrong’s May 1970 trip to the Soviet Union, signed in black felt tip. In very good condition, with trimming as noted, a few creases (mainly at corners and edges; small crease to lower part of Armstrong’s face), and scattered small emulsion marks (visible mainly from an angle). The signature is bold, well contrasted, and unaffected, and many of the faults can be minimized or completely hidden by proper matting and framing. A most unusual signed pose for Armstrong!
