Silent film comic who appeared in dozens of Mack Sennett’s early Keystone comedies. He would eventually create and star in his own vehicles for other studios. He was also the nephew of Fatty Arbuckle. Lot of two signed items: a vintage sepia matte-finish portrait of the bearded St. John, signed and inscribed “To L.E. from Fuzzy” in pencil on the wide brim of his white hat; and, a 5 x 3 card, signed and inscribed “To Albert, Yours for fun, Al ‘Fuzzy’ St. John” in blue ink. In fine condition, with a couple of spots of trivial soiling to the card, bit of edge silvering to the photo. R&R COA.
