Bell answers a call for his autograph

Scottish-born scientist and inventor (1847–1922) who conceived the telephone, founded the Bell Telephone Company, and invented various devices for aiding the deaf. TLS, one page, 7 x 5, March 10, 1922. Just five months before his passing, Bell complies with an autograph request. In full, “In response to your request for my autograph I have much pleasure in handing it to you hereon.” In very good condition, with intersecting mailing folds (one between first and middle name), and some scattered light toning and foxing.
