Highly respected French military officer (1851–1929) who served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Armies in the final months of World War I. Splendid tinted matte-finish 10 x 14 photo of Foch in uniform, bearing the studio stamp of Frank Moore, Cleveland, boldly signed in fountain pen “F. Foch.” Housed in its original presentation folder. Please note that the gradation around the image is a border original to the printing of the photo and is not the result of toning.
