Matte-finish sepia 6.5 x 8.75 photo tipped to its original 9.5 x 14 mount, signed and inscribed in fountain pen on the mount, “To Baron Professor Alexander Koranyi in grateful remembrance of his kind friendship,12th November 1926,” adding a phrase (his name?) in his native language, and signing again beneath the image “Rabindranath Tagore.” In fair condition, with loss to top left corner (slightly touching first word of inscription), mild soiling and toning to mount, and several large, somewhat fragile cracks and partial separations to mount (horizontal crack to lower edge of signature). The writing is clear and dark, and most of the faults are well within the means of restoration. R&R COA.
