LS signed “Benj. Harrison,” two pages on two adjoining sheets, 5 x 8, personal letterhead, January 19, 1895. Harrison writes to Mr. Bowen. In part: “I had expected to be in New York sometime in January, probably as early as the middle of the month, but the case I am engaged in seems likely to extend itself to the middle of February at least. I expect to be in New York as soon as the case is ended and will be glad to see you; though it is hardly probable that I will be able to make you a visit, as my daughter will probably be in New York at that time and I shall be most of the time with her….” A hint of subtle scattered toning, and light rippling to top and bottom of second page from mounting remnants on reverse, otherwise fine condition. Auction LOA John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and R&R COA.
