Decorated German World War I ace (1893–1946) who rose through the Nazi ranks to become head of the Luftwaffe and one of Hitler’s most trusted associates. While in his Nuremberg prison cell awaiting his sentence of death by hanging, Göring committed suicide with a cyanide capsule. Chilling and early vintage 3.5 x 5.5 German postcard photo of Göring in his helmet and Nazi armbands, signed in full in fountain pen. In very good condition, with scattered silvering to dark areas of image and background, scattered surface marks, small ding to top and bottom edge, and some light contrast to small portion of signature. Nice example of Göring’s early full signature. R&R COA.
